While at work I am in the shadows as far as telling people that I am a Christian, only b/c I want to show people that I am a regular guy.
Today while talking to a supervisor I dropped something and the contents spilled. I blurted out an explitive. I asked the supervisor if this is ok (I figured it was being that I work in a factory). She said that there are religous people that work there and it may not be ok to them, but she didn't care. I said that I was religous. Her comeback was that some call themselves religous but talk about people there behind their backs (slander).
I take after Paul as being with barbarians I will act like them to win the more. But I will not go so far.
Last week some at work went to Las Vegas to gamble. They took a worker from the night shift so he could get a hooker and get laid. (Apparently this didn't happen [An answer to prayer]). So you can see that I literally work in the world.
Jesus prayed that we would remain in the world, but not be of it. My Goal is to be true at work. Showing God's Grace to all. Be a light in their darkness. I am praying that I can wittness to sombody there. Win the more.
In Him, Bozzy

After a while, people will notice that you're a Christian through your faith. You won't have to tell them. Some may agree with you and some may not. The ones who agree with you are your friends. The ones who don't are the lost sheep. Being a Light in everyone's darkness will allow you to win. The more you show God's Grace, the stronger in Him you will become, and the easier it will be for you to work with everyone.

I did say an explitive, then asked my then boss if it was okay. I think that when Paul said to be a jew to win the jews or a greek to win the greeks, he was stating be like real people to win the real people. My boss didn't notice and said that some 'christians' will look down their noses at that other christians will not. It is hard to find those who are really christians there.

That's ok. I don't think there are many where I am working either. The president of the company likes to sleep around. Her sister hoards money only for her family, their cousin is a sort of foreman who is a very well-trained back-stabber. The 3 guys in the shop are "perfect" as they never make mistakes, but when they do its someone elses fault....usually mine. And one other guy is ok, but I can't tell you how many women he's had children with who are walking the earth right now. Though it is interesting to experience God's strength in the midst of wrongdoing. The stronger your faith, the less you fall. I get along with all of these people because I look passed their wrongdoings. We have to live and get along with everyone, but we don't have to be like them. God makes us strong to be able to live with and get along with the unjust. You never know when one or more might want to be saved. And no, I'm very far from perfect as I make my mistakes as well, but I am always sure to sincerely ask God for forgiveness as soon as I acknowledge my wrongdoing.

I work for a precision sheet metal company. We make sheet metal parts for different types of applications, like electronics and general types of items. My job is a manufacturing engineer where I'm responsible for almost everything. The work is different every day which is what I like. It could be anything from machinery repair to AutoCad designing to helping the guys with their setup problems, etc.
