"The Full Armor of God forum hasn't heard from you in awhile. There's a lot of good music out there, let us know what you think about it!" Friends, I'm not listening to much music these days. The Lighthouse Christian Bookstore closed in Glendale where I used to keep up with new music. Remember the Saturday night music show on the old KFSG? There is where I found Disciple and then I discovered Christian Metal. Now I especially like Underoath and other screamo bands, Norma Jean, Haste The Day... About the radio station: it was sold years ago and still broadcasts Christian music but the signal is not directed into this part of L.A. Occasionally I can use this computer in the home of a garden client (my vocation is gardening). Then I can listen to the hardcore but generally I listen to KUSC classical on the radio because there often is Christian music playing there. Handel, Bach...and I like the modern music as well. Gustav Mahler, Anton Bruckner... Politically I endorse Theonomic Christian Reconstruction. In Christ, The Only Way, William Donald Los Angeles, California Republic

Politically I endorse Theonomic Christian Reconstruction. Personally, I can't go there brother. This world is not home, I'm just passing through. Also, I believe the Kingdom of God - as long as we're on this earth - is within us; not a physical but a spiritual Kingdom. He conquers hearts one at a time. We bend our knees willingly, not under the force of law, at the point of a sword or barrel of a gun. Just my 2 cents!

Hi pastorz and youall. It has been a long dry spell not having a keyboard, but I'm in the house till the 26th or 27th or whenever...sorry about not replying sooner! I totally agree that we are here on the planet for a short time before we go to live with Him. but our behaviour is prescribed by the Word of God while we are here. Do we behave according to man's capricious law (autonomy) or to God's unchanging standard (theonomy)? I totally agree with the rest of your post as well, but look.. wee bend our knees under the force of man's law, at the point of a sword or barrel of a gun. ....Contrasted with the perfect law of liberty which we obey willingly enabled by the power of the Holy Spirit. Actually, I see that I must disagree with yours: "We bend our knees willingly, not under the force of law, ..." In fact, the law drives us to Christ Galatians 3.24 "Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster [to bring us] unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith." Personally, I can't go there brother. This world is not home, I'm just passing through. "I'm just passing through?" What about Genesis 1.28? And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. or: Genesis 9.1? And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth. or: Matthew 28.19-20??? Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen. sounds like WORK to me ! (edit): read this and tell me that theonomists are evil: www.branchofhope.org/documents/tc/libertygodslaw.pdf
