Anyone else enjoying this hard rock with a Southern bluesy underlay?

No, that was a different band. I'm pretty sure they weren't Christian! Kidding - I know what you meant!

I haven't picked this up yet, but will. IMO, "By God" is still the best one they have released that I have, which is all but the latest. Fortunately, I have seen them in concert twice now, and both times they have put on a good show!

No fair, I haven't seen them live yet! It is good to know they put on show. I always respect bands who can do it (play the music) both in the studio and on stage!!

As far as Disciple goes I still miss the old stuff such as "This Might Sting a Little" and "By God". I've yet to listen to the whole "Southern Hospitality" cd but some of the songs that I've heard are kind of mellow. I guess I should take the time to listen to it before I critique it.

Oh yeah, notice I said 'hard rock" and "bluesy." And I admit I skip a few tracks, but I like it for what it is.

I quit listening to them after the black album. I mean Back Again.
