So, I was in Wally World tonight and saw that the newest POD album has been released. I'm curious if anyone here has had a chance to listen to a good bit of it yet, rather than just a song or two. I checked out their myspace (shudder) page a few weeks ago and I liked what I heard... but I'm still longing for more of the 'glory days' of POD, back when they were a little more aggressive.
I'm curious if there is any of this on there.
I felt that Testify was a rather good album that offered a little more edge than recently, with the breakdown in 'Lights Out' and... name escapes me... a track near the end... it was heavier sounding than the rest of the album.
Just curious if anyone out there has had a stab at it yet and if so, what are your impressions?

The early days were very special indeed. I like it for the most part, but there is just so much more interesting stuff out there right now.. It is somewhere around 32-33 on the ECM Album Chart.
